Feature: Tricycle

Next to jeepneys and taxi's another form of transportation here in the Philippines are the tricycle. they are the kings of Philippines inner roads and alleys and sometime you can even see them on national highway. tricycle or better known here as trikes is a cheaper way to get to your exact destination though in some places trike can be pricey cause in some provinces its their main way of transportation to the next city or town. but here in the city trikes usually used for street to street hopping or from one village to the next. trikes varies in different regions of the Philippines the trikes in Visayas and Mindanao are much bigger looks like a mini jeepney that can accommodate 10 person or more wherein here in the city it usually can sit 3 to 4 person only. trikes are very similar to Thailand's tuktuk.

Looks quite fun actually, must be an experience :-)

Well, one has to take what's there to use. Any way to transport faster than to walk is good - if going far.

Maybe I get to test it one day, because we're considering to go to the Philippines - maybe.

I've been to the Philippines, really loved it! It's cool that most Filipinos speak really fluent English :D

my city of cabanatuan is the tricycle capital of the philippines with around 30 thousand trikes plying the streets.

visitors of my city found them too be a bit too annoying and sometimes they are branded as cheats but like everyone else, they are just trying to make a living.

on other note, i find the tuktuks of bangkok to be overrated. just an opinion.

I changed my blog around so you'll need to change that link. The main domain still works but the /blog.html isn't good anymore.

Also, update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
